“Give A Kid A Chance” is a community outreach based on principles in Matthew 25:

Who: any child and family can be nominated, however; we try to prioritize single parent families and families with three or more children.
What: A single day even designed to help students and their families with a new school uniform, back pack and school supplies, as well as access to community and faith service providers.
When: August 11th, 2018 from 8:00am to 12:00pm
Where: Ennis High School – 2301 Ensign Rd., Ennis, TX

How are families chosen?

Participants are selected through a nomination process. Local churches, businesses, and organizations nominate families that qualify. Back to top

 

How will I know if my family has been nominated?

A member of the registration team will contact the family prior to June 15th to verify your participation as well as collect information needed to provide accurate services and materials. Back to top

 

How does a family receive services?

Participants attend the event held at Ennis High School- Ennis, TX on Saturday, August 11th to receive most of the services offered. Some services may be in the form of a voucher or certificate for future use. Back to top

 

What time should I arrive?

An event volunteer will contact the family prior to the day to schedule a time for the family to arrive. Back to top

 

Do I need to have my children with me?

YES! Many of the services – such as dental, vision, hearing, and scoliosis screenings, as well as haircuts – are only available on the day of the event. Children will need to be in attendance to receive these services. Back to top
